Wendi has been designing interiors since age 3, when she pleaded for her mother's help with rearranging her bedroom furniture so "it would feel better". Since her early beginning, she earned degrees in business administration and interior design; worked for a number of highly respected design firms; and started her own full-service interior design firm in 1995. She now directs a team of seven professionals to fulfill her clients' dreams. Wendi Young Design has developed a niche for designing and building high-end custom residences throughout the United States, and their work is as diverse as the clients they represent. From luxury oceanfront homes on the California coast to mountain top retreats in Colorado, each one reflects the personality and lifestyle of the individual client. Whether it is a contemporary home with ethnic influences or a country French home filled with Provencal furnishings, the common threads are understated luxury, attention to detail, and comfort.
