About

Margaret L. Norcott, Allied ASID earned a Bachelor of Design from the College of Architecture, School of Interior Design at the University of Florida in 1993. She creates unique environments with a timeless aesthetic by mixing different styles with items that are very old and architectural in nature. Margaret started Milieu Design Group, Inc. in 1996. Margaret's firm provides full turn-key interior design to simple hourly consultations from paint selections to furniture placement, residential and commercial space planning, custom homebuilder design services and advice for their client's, model home and set design, as well as, art procurement, custom draperies and more. Margaret has been a "featured" Designer in the 2003-2006 Alliance Children's Theater Guild Christmas Show House, as well as the 2005 Dream Home that was held in Country Club of the South and the 2007, 2008 and 2010 Atlanta Symphony Decorator's Show House & Gardens. In January 2011, Margaret was the Interior Set Designer for "The Beverly Hillbillies" set at The Next Cool Thing Event (focusing on the movie industry in Atlanta, Georgia). The TNCT team were invited to be the Featured Guest Design, one month later, at the Spring 2011 Atlanta Home Show to recreate The Beverly Hillbillies {Take 2}. Margaret was also honored to be a Featured Speaker on stage at the show. In February 2012, Margaret was (again) the Interior Set Designer for "Midnight In The Garden Of Good & Evil" set at The Next Cool Event. Following, Margaret & the Midnight team were asked to flip their concept for the Spring 2012 Atlanta Home Show - calling it: "Southern Style-Spotlight Savannah." They built a box home with full facade, beautiful gardens and a beautifully furnished living space. Margaret was the Event Space Coordinator & Interior Designer, as well as, a Featured Speaker on stage for a third time. Margaret and her family moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC in 2012 for her husband's job, and thus Milieu Design Group, Inc. has made this lovely city its new Office Headquarters. Milieu Design Group, In. happily accepts work throughout the USA and internationally.
