Louise Tilzer is President of Louise Tilzer Art Advisory, a NY firm dedicated to the needs of private and corporate art clients, for both the creation of new collections and toward acquisitions for existing collections. Louise is a licensed Insurance broker and Wealth Management Specialist, trained at Mass Mutual, and is President of Iraglo, LLC and Trustarr, LLC. Recognition that both Art and Insurance are non-correlated assets and can act as hedges against inflation, increases clients' options in diversification of investment portfolios. LTAA provides insight into contemporary, modern and nineteenth-century art and design. Louise has contributed to various museum catalogues, and uses as resources: galleries; artists' studios; auction houses and private collections. Louise Tilzer has worked with photographer Bert Stern as curator of his museum and gallery exhibitions, and in the supervision of his archival platinum prints, especially of "The Last Sitting," a collection of Stern's iconic photographs of Marliyn Monroe - and has special access to custom photographs directly from Bert Stern. Louise has herself been an artist and documentary filmmaker and won an award from the American Film Institute for a documentary about street artist Richard Hambleton, which was shown at The Whitney Museum of American Art in NY, the Museum of Modern Art in NY, The Art Institute of Chicago, Museum Boymans-van Beuningen in Rotterdam and on American Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). Louise designed the cover of William R. Rhodes' book, "Banker to the World: Leadership Lessons Learned From the Front Lines of Global Finance," which is in its third printing, and has been translated from English into Mandarin, Korean, Japanese and Portuguese - and also designed the logo for William R. Rhodes Global Advisors. Louise was educated at Syracuse University in the Fine Arts program, and at Hunter College in the Art History Masters' Program. She lives and works in New York.
