By combining the science of engineering with the aesthetics of designing exciting, functional interiors, Normarie brings a unique set of skills to the art of Interior Design. Normarie Soto, an honors graduate of the International Academy of Design Technology (IADT) and Community College of the Air Force, is a former Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force. From 2001 through 2007, she served as a highly specialized F-15 jet engine mechanic, supporting our troops in the Middle East throughout Operations Noble Eagle, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. During her Air Force tenure, Normarie was recognized with various awards and decorations that cited her unparalleled attention to detail, dedication and commitment to excellence. Normarie spent four years with a design firm in Orlando, Florida serving as a planner and designer of residential projects, remodel, renovation and new build construction, architectural detailing, model home merchandising and real estate staging. The very same attributes for which she was recognized by the Air Force have earned Normarie the respect of her industry peers and clients. She has made it her professional mission to bring the same level of discipline, attention to detail and commitment to excellence from her military training and service to all aspects of her career. In 2011, Normarie relocated to Hampton, Virginia and began an independent Interior Design business, Haute Chic Home, building on the foundation of her experiences. In addition to establishing her company, she is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and an Executive Certificate in Contracts and Procurement with Strayer University.
