Owner, Valarie Baser, is an Interior Design graduate from Chaminade University of Honolulu, Hawaii. Her first internship was focused on Set Design for theaters. Valarie gained experience as an assistant of Joe Dodd, professor of University of Hawaii, Manoa and together they produced designs for plays such as "The Vengeful Sword" and "Tasi's Gift: a Samoan Tale." In 2011, Valarie later moved the New York City and began working as an assistant for DMDesign LLC, an architect/interior design company that focuses on high end residential projects and international retail design. In 2012, Valarie decided to start her own company with a mission to make interior design services accessible to those who appreciate interior design.

Valarie MIchelle Decor offers affordable interior decorating services and provide home furnishings. We help our clients solve their design problems while capturing a completed space to showcase their personality. Our design sense is modern and minimalist style so clients are surrounded by "progression" and forward thinking which will improve lives. We offer services in many areas such as: color scheming, furniture planning, furniture selection, flooring selection, producing visualizations installations and full project management. We believe that everyone deserves to live a beautiful and smart decor.

Fee Structures

Basic hourly rate of $65 Time spent with client or at their homes is the only time counted. We offer discounts to many furniture showrooms with flexible pricing. First consultations are completely free of charge. We accept projects with a budget of at least $1500 not including design fees.
