About
Who is Studio Four Design? In 2002, Studio Four Design began with a simple idea: Unite a select group of individuals, diverse in talent, but charged with the collective task of raising the standard for design and service in the East Tennessee region to a new level. Today, we are one of a few firms regionally that successfully combines multiple design disciplines within a single firm. With services inspired by the four dimensions - (line) Planning, (plane) Graphics, (volume) Architecture and Interiors, (time) Consulting - our name tells you why we’re here; for design. Studio Four Design brings to each project the energy and enthusiasm of a young firm supported by the excellence and reputation of an established practice. In this setting, youth and idealism are balanced with the experience and pragmatism the firm principals willingly share. The quality of our people and the collaborations we encourage during all phases of the project make a difference in the final product. We don’t dwell on industry recognition and we’re pretty modest about our publicity (though we’re proud to share our accomplishments and history with any who are interested). Instead, we just enjoy doing our jobs. We arrive early and stay late. As designers, the blank page is where we work, where we play, where we test ideas and prove points. Some ideas flow effortlessly. Sometimes they take superhuman effort. To us, design is something that never ends. It is the last line in a thousand sheets of paper. But we persevere because it’s our job to turn the roughest sketch into the smoothest design imaginable. The mark of our success is when our performance is recognized by the people that count; our clients. They all have their own stories about what it’s like to work with us, but a common theme keeps popping up: we’re not a vendor, we’re more like a trusted partner.
