Charlie M. is the moniker of Los Angeles based interior designer, Meredith Pominville. Meredith approaches each project with a deep curiosity and a critical eye. The goal is to uncover and provide thoughtful design that fulfills the client’s vision, refined through Meredith’s creative sensibility. By listening and responding appropriately to the physical space, client requirements and budget requirements, Charlie M. has delivered strikingly successful renovations for over 20 residential and hospitality clients in the Los Angeles area since 2005. Meredith has a 15-year background in graphic design and theatrical set and lighting design, which has enabled her to create truly unique custom details for her clients. Clients have remarked on her savvy use of color and lighting design to create mood, ambiance and versatility in all the spaces she designs. Additionally, she has created original art, wall murals, water features and custom furniture for clients, enabling them to save money and use inspiration pieces as the genesis of something singularly expressive. As a project manager, she excels at navigating client-contractor relationships and tracking vendor bidding and budgets carefully. Adding to her field expertise is her formal training in Interior Architecture at UCLA-Extension’s prestigious Professional Certification In Interior Design Program. She was among the first class to receive a Masters in Interior Architecture from Cal Poly Pomona in 2011.
