A recent graduate of the Master of Fine Arts program at the Academy of Art University School of Interior Architecture and Design with a focus on sustainable design, Jen Davidson is also a LEED AP since 2009, professional blogger, and Social Media Consultant to the ASID Northern California chapter's Communications Director. Her interest in interiors grew out of a doomed marriage that included an apartment renovation -- through losing the property in the divorce she gained impetus and excitement for a new career. A good attitude wasn't enough to kickstart a business, so instead Jen became a returning student, graduating at the age of 40 with freshly honed skills in hand-sketching and drafting, Photoshop, Revit and computer-assisted building information modeling as well as building and fire codes. Jen also brings a wealth of influences from her former professional roles, including graphic design, corporate administration and management, and small business ownership. Her joy in working with clients comes through in every interaction; big and small. Jen is committed to not only producing the best possible design work, but doing it as sustainably as possible and within budget, all with a smile.
