A native son of Southern California, Scott Corridan was born and raised in Riverside and spent much of his youth molded by the beach and the old-school ranching cultures of Newport, Corona del Mar, and Laguna. As a youth leader, Scott went on to study architecture at The University of Southern California School of Architecture, ultimately completing his studies at The University of California, Santa Barbara, in Environmental Studies and Urban Planning. In 1994, Scott established Scott Corridan Design. Scott has designed interior and architectural spaces for hundreds of clients. Scott’s work has been widely published in San Francisco Magazine, Enigma Magazine, Santa Barbara Magazine, In Style Magazine, C Magazine, Town & Country Magazine, The Robb Report, to list but a few. In 2008, In Style named Scott as one of the top 10 celebrity event producers planning special events in the country. An accolade that is ongoing. Scott’s work has been widely celebrated on television on Tricks of The Trade for The Fine Living Channel, The Travel Channel, Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, NBC’s Life Moments, as a host in charge of design on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition, as a guest interior design makeover expert on The Tyra Banks Show, as a guest interior design makeover expert on Jane Buckingham’s Modern Girl’s Guide To Life on the Style Network, and in 2008 HGTV selected Scott as one of 11 finalists for the network’s runaway hit show Design Star, Season II, which was followed by appearances nationally on regional news and lifestyle programs including NBC's In The Loop as a guest interior design makeover expert, in addition to being the on air Wedding Producer for Scott Baio's wedding on VH1's Scott Baio's 46... and Pregnant. Scott's long and loyal list of clients range from the entertainment industry, to politics, to captains of industry and finance. Scott has a passion for social causes and community efforts dedicated to animals, adult health care and the arts. His career has regularly and passionately supported the efforts of many charitable organizations. His volunteer time and professional support extends to Canine Companions — the nation’s largest organization dedicated to training and partnering assistance animals with children and adults across many physical and emotional need levels. Additionally, Scott is a certified ski instructor working with developmentally disabled children and adults through California's Mammoth Mountain Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra program and California’s Alpine Meadow’s Disabled Sports USA Far West program. Scott currently resides in both Tiburon and Lake Tahoe, California with his partner and their golden retrievers – Daisy and Duke, and their horses -- champion thoroughbred Duchesse, and Irish Jumper Sport Horse Lady.
