Professional Interior Designer, Maria P. Perron, has worked in the design profession for 20 years. Her philosophy has always been to “listen” to her client, gather needs and desires and create their space according to their individual needs Maria received her degree in interior design from Hesser College and has spent time in New York studying her profession. Maria is an Professional member of ASID, and has completed the rigorous NCIDQ exam by the National Council of Interior Design Qualification. Maria has served as Adjunct Instructor for Basic Kitchen and Bath Design at the NH Institute of Art in Manchester and has authored several articles for NH area newspapers focusing on design and decorating. She has authorized an article on licensing the interior design profession in Builder/Architect Magazine. Her work has been published in Yankee Magazine, NH Magazine, Heart of NH Magazine, and “Color in Small Spaces”, a book by Kimberly Mikula and Brenda Grant-Hays that features four projects. Maria has contributed to six area showhouses and has participated in several charitable events for the Sunapee PTO and the Newport Opera House, as well as Holiday House Tours. Maria was recently publicly endorsed by Discovery TV’s Rebecca Cole of Surprise by Design during the Meredith Home & Garden Show where Maria presented a workshop focusing on the undertones of color in paint and fabric. Maria has been presented with 26 prestigious Cornerstone Awards from the New Hampshire Home Builders & Remodelers Association for excellence in interior, kitchen design and remodeling. Her skills have been widely acclaimed by clients and contemporaries alike as evidenced in her personal portfolio.
