Carol DeBear is an Allied Member of ASID since 1999 when she started her own firm, DeBear Designs Inc. Ms. DeBear is known for her strong attention to detail, working closely with each client on their particular project. Her professional background began as a textile stylist and designer after graduating from The Fashion Institute of Technology. She continued her interior design education earning a degree from The Parsons School of Design in 1991. Carol's work has been published in New York Spaces Magazine, Women's Day and Westchester Magazine. Carol also lends her talents to a number of area charitable causes such as The Make A Wish Foundation, working with children and young adults afflicted with life threatening diseases.

DeBear Designs bases its fees on an individual client basis. Options include hourly, hourly plus commission, and/or a design fee plus commission. Each fee option is tailored to whatever makes sense to the client and the project. There is an initial consultation charge to meet in the client's home. If the consultation takes place in the offices of DeBear Designs, there is no charge in order to introduce ourselves as well as get to know you. We will work on an entire home or office or several rooms to start.
