About

Victoria Lester received her Degree in Interior Design from Bradley Academy for the Visual Arts in York, PA in 2001. She passed the NCIDQ Exams, and is a professional member of ASID. With a background working with architects she is able to truly understand the workings of a structure and space. She has been working closely with Architects & Designers for several years. During her employment with an architectural firm she completed several new residences, two clubhouses for apartment complexes, a dental office, spaces for a pharmaceutical company, and several additions for residential and commercial projects. She created full sets of construction documents, coordinated the different consultants for the projects, and conducted construction administration for these jobs. After spending several years working on her own, she worked for Heath Design for a time and learned the intricacies of Commercial Design. Now working from home once again while taking care of her toddler, Victoria is also the ASID Maryland Chapter’s communication’s Director.

Services Offered

Project Sizes and scopes range from color selection for an individual room to the complete Interior Design of entire Residences. Kitchen and bathroom remodels as well as Architectural design of Residential Additions. This includes permit and construction drawings for residential remodels and additions.

Fee Structures

For a contracted project, an estimate will be assembled first, then accepted by the client before a contract is written. The advantage of a contract is that invoices would be billed monthly, and there is a written agreement between the designer and the client so everything is clear from the beginning. If the project is pay-as-you-go, then the first consultation would be scheduled. With the pay-as-you-go method, payment for time spent with the client is payed directly after an appointment. This method is only used for smaller projects, and projects that are only based upon consultations, no draft work. The hourly fee for contract clients and pay-as-you-go is $100 per hour.
