Victoria Kirk Interiors is a design firm that stresses the importance of a collaborative design process between architect, interior designer and client to create a cohesive aesthetic. Each project has a unique look tailored to the site and sensitive to the architectural context, integrating the two in a seamless fashion that is both life friendly and viscerally alluring. With 22 years of design experience in both public and private commissions, Ms. Kirk’s global design aesthetic is influenced by her European parents and a childhood split between New York, the Philippines and Paris. Earning her undergraduate degree in art history and political science, she went on to study Interior Design at Parsons. Her first practice, MOVK opened in 2000 specializing in restaurant, retail and hospitality design. The firm was singled out by Britain’s Retail Interiors as one of the new ten hot design firms in 2001. Ms. Kirk spent the next 7 years developing the interiors division for Tsao & Mckown architects working on a range of projects including several New York residences, the Nai Lert Park Hotel in Bangkok and the luxury Cipriani Residences in downtown New York. When Victoria Kirk Interiors was established in 2007, her focus turned to residential commissions. Current projects range from the design of a 60 acre estate on the Hudson in Tivoli, New York to a modest 1929 cottage in Sag Harbor, New York. In New York City, projects include a classic six apartment on Park Avenue and 78th Street; a private residence in the Kenilworth on the upper west side; and a pied-a-terre in the luxury Robert Stern building at 15 Central Park West.
