Officeinsight Publisher Bob Beck is a longtime veteran of the industry having held senior management positions at Knoll, ai, and Vecta. Officeinsight is a website and digital magazine that offers in-depth research, design trend analysis, and insights on workplace design and furnishings.

Ellen Fisher, ASID

Ellen Fisher, ASID
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the New York School of Interior Design

Ellen Fisher is the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the New York School of Interior Design. A professional member of ASID and IIDA, she is a New York State Certified Interior Designer, with graduate degrees in teaching with technology, and architectural studies. Fisher earned a PhD in Architectural Studies/Human Environmental Sciences from the University of Missouri in 2011, focusing her research on the effect of the physical classroom environment on literacy. For many years, she maintained an active design practice, Design and Planning/Interiors, in the New York metropolitan area, designing both residential and commercial spaces. Key projects included many homes and apartments, and designs for the offices of Theatreworks USA and Palestrini Film Editing; restaurants and shops throughout New York; and, most recently, the design, based on environment and behavior research evidence, of the Kindergarten, eight grade classrooms and main lobby of Alexandria Country Day School, in Alexandria, Va., where she also trained the teachers on designing the classroom environment for literacy.

Creative Director, One Workplace

One Workplace Creative Director, Christopher Good, is an award winning interior designer and artist. Chris’ work has been published in Eide Magazine, Richmond Magazine and LAVA Magazine; and his illustration work can be found in Architecture and Interior Design Through the 18th Century: an Integrated History and it’s follow up, Architecture and Interior Design, 19th Century to the Present: an Integrated History (Authors: Harwood, Sherman, & May). Both volumes have been awarded the ASID Education Foundation Joel Polsky Prize.

Jon Strassner is Vice President of Sales at Teknion Studio and has 20 years of experience in the contract furniture industry. Over the last decade he served as Director, A&D Division, North America, for a major furniture manufacturer. He has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2007.
