World Interiors Day

Design Matter. Join ASID in celebrating the power of design with World Interiors Day, May 30.

Designers create safer, more efficient, and more comfortable environments for the world we live in. Their efforts drive economic growth, enhance our daily lives, and contribute to the well-being of the individuals who occupy designed spaces.

Communicating the positive impact of design is a top priority for the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the guidepost for all our initiatives. In this spirit, we are excited to participate in this year’s World Interiors Day, a global celebration of design’s influence on society and the built environment, on May 30.

Spearheaded by the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI), World Interiors Day engages the entire design community through events and activities that encourage dialogue, participation, and appreciation of design’s many facets. This year’s theme, “Design for All,” underscores value, relevance, and responsibility by noting the importance of design in improving lives and creating more inclusive environments.

ASID honors its commitment to philanthropic design, pro bono work, and its partnership with The 1% program, in acknowledgement of this theme. Learn more about The 1% program and the pro bono work of ASID members.
