Student Chapter Rebate Program

Your student chapter can earn hundreds of dollars through the ASID Rebate Program. All you have to do is recruit new student members.

Here’s how it works.

Recruit student members for your chapter by having them join or renew their student membership online. Student members can renew online by logging in to and accessing the ASID Member Navigation menu. Your chapter will receive $5 for every ASID student member you recruit or renew.

Once your student chapter hits 20  recruits, you will be eligible to request a rebate check. Rebate check distribution occurs once a semester. Don’t worry if you chapter’s recruitment count is less than 20 or you miss the request period — recruitment numbers roll over from one semester to the next!

Be sure to have a bank account established in the name of your ASID student chapter. Email for more details or if you need help with opening this account.

What happens next?

Once you have an established ASID student chapter, a bank account, and an epic recruitment plan, your student chapter has two open recruitment periods to recruit:

  • Mid-September to mid-February (fall into spring semester)
  • Mid-February to mid-September (spring into fall semester)

ASID Headquarters pulls student chapter recruitment reports around February 15 during the spring semester and September 15 during the fall semester. Once the numbers are tallied and analyzed, ASID Headquarters will notify all ASID Student Chapter presidents, treasurers, and faculty advisors of chapters that have earned rebates.

  1. Be sure ASID Headquarters has up-to-date contact information for all of your student chapter leaders and your faculty advisor. Send the name, student chapter board position, email address, and start and end dates for each your student chapter leaders to
  2. Keep an eye on your email inbox for additional information you’ll need to request your refund. You’ll need the ASID Rebate Check Code from this email to apply. This code is a unique code per school, per semester.

Make sure to coordinate with your fellow student chapter leaders on who is going to make the request. Only one request should be submitted per student chapter. 

*Funds from rebate checks that are not requested or are outstanding after 60 days of issue will return to ASID Headquarters for future student recruitment use.

Student chapters that qualify for a rebate must complete the following form in order to receive their check. Qualified chapters will be notified by email.

Before starting your chapter’s submission, please make sure you have the following items on hand:

  • The name of your ASID bank account. You must have a bank account in order to qualify for a rebate. (The check will be made out to this account)
  • Preferred mailing address for your rebate check
  • This semester’s unique rebate check code. You can find this in the notification email sent to your chapter by ASID Headquarters
