This kitchen was featured in Cleveland magazine, Novemeber 2006. We had a great time designing this space for the clients who wanted a relaxed, open floor plan. We gave the client the kitchen of their dreams by raising the pitch in the roof, using bright white cabinetry and painting the walls a soothing shade of "silver sage" the client found in Restoration Hardware.
The clients wanted a few things from their new design: something friendly, a place for homework and something beautiful to look at. Using natural stained cherry cabinetry, black appliances and black granite countertops (with an overhang for homework) they got the kitchen of their dreams!
This living room was put together in one afternoon. The client had just moved into the house and was having a party that weekend. We kept the walls a neutral white and accessorized with items they already had. We hung pictures of their favorite past time, cycling, and used candles and family photos to give a more intimate feel.
This room was designed for a two year old little boy who loves cars and trucks! Across the hall we designed his older brothers room with planets. By using neutral colors the home owners won't have to repaint the bedrooms when the boys out-grow their trucks and planets.
After we removed the existing wall paper, added a durable cranberry wallcovering and laid new flooring, this became a favorite of visitors and employees to the Junior League of Akron's Designer Show House '06! This bathroom was also featured in the Akron-Beacon Journal in June '06.
