Virtual CEU Brunch and Learn: ColorMix Forecast 2021- RE-DO

As a recent addition to the ASID MN board, Nicole Alatar is Sherwin-Williams Design Account Executive for the Twin Cities area.  She has been with the Sherwin-Williams company for 8 years and loves what she does.  Nicole supports Designers and Architects, offering product specifications and color tool expertise.  She has a pasion for connecting with both design professionals and industry partners.

This course will take the participant on a visual journey with stimulation imagery, factual statistics and perceptive research that supports the 2021 forecast for color and design trends.  We will explore the drivers influencing future color and design trends that include global, technological, historic, psychological and econominc factors with specific information on the four differenct color palettes, named Sanctuary, Encounter, Tapestry and Continuum.

Course Objectives:

  • To gain knowledge and insight into the drivers for color and design trends for 2021
  • To gain knowledge and insight into influences for color and design trends for 2021
  • To gain inspiration for current and future design projects
  • To gain knowledge of new and interesting resources for future design projects
