Artka believes that every person and every business has a story to tell. She started an interior design practice of her own and utilizes her creativity to translate her clients’ stories and brands into a three-dimensional space. As a mentor, speaker and co-author of a book on personal branding and career development, her goal is to help others find success in the field of interior design. She was recently elected as the 2015-2016 president of the Wisconsin chapter of ASID. She holds an Associate’s degree in Interior Design from Milwaukee Area Technical College.

Dorfman is a biomimicry chemist who has spent the last seven years working with Biomimicry 3.8. Collaborating with strategic partners, he consults the natural world for innovative solutions to toxic chemical challenges facing our industrialized world. Before that, he worked in the nonprofit sector influencing public policy at the state and federal levels. Dorfman is a board member of Biomimicry NYC (BNYC), a consortium of professionals committed to transforming the world through innovation inspired by nature. Part of the Global Biomimicry Network, BNYC sees the natural world as our mentor, model and measure, extracting knowledge instead of just resources.

In her newest venture, K&CO, Ninivaggi strives to encapsulate all of her design experiences to fully serve her clients. Before starting K&CO, she served as director of SHoP Architects’ Interior Design Group. While there, she completed interiors for Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., Google's executive offices and the award-winning New York corporate office of Shopbop. In 2013, she was honored with the title of “Young Gun” by Curbed.com. Ninivaggi received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Bachelor of Architecture degree, both from the Rhode Island School of Design.

As Make It Right’s Research, Design and Development manager, Jordan Pollard works with the Construction team to develop cost appropriate design and construction methodologies. He also works on the organization’s Library and Laboratory, two new platforms for sharing lessons learned and the technical aspects of Make It Right’s work with a broader audience. With 10 years’ experience in architecture, fabrication and construction, Pollard previously worked with the executive architect for the Make It Right project, John Williams Architects, where he managed Make It Right’s work for two years. Prior to that, Pollard worked at William McDonough + Partners on projects ranging from master planning to residential work.

Cesar R. Rodriguez coordinates product donations and construction services for Make It Right. Rodriguez is a second-generation contractor with more than 10 years experience in construction management. He previously managed his own construction business and brings a wealth of construction and management experience to Make It Right. He is a graduate of the University of Houston with a major in Political Science. Rodriguez was among the first group of contractors to return to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Schrank enjoys telling stories about companies, projects, industry trends and people. At PushPoint Marketing, she helps clients identify the unique aspects of a project, share their industry expertise and differentiate themselves in the marketplace. She previously worked as an interior designer in the Milwaukee and Phoenix markets. As a mentor, speaker and coauthor of a book on personal branding and career development, Schrank helps other design professionals find success as they create their own unique career story. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a double major in Interior Architecture and Communications.

An award-winning architect, LEED project manager, sustainable building advisor and educator, Welton combines sustainability, energy efficiency, building biology and biomimicry in architecture, interior design and planning. Prior to starting her own firm, EcoArchitecture Design Works, in New York in 2000, she served as director of concept architecture for Sony Development and senior designer for Walt Disney Imagineering. Welton attended her first biomimicry training in 2009, graduating as a biomimicry specialist in 2011 before becoming a founding member of Biomimicry NYC. She holds a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Colorado.
