Materials Matter Video: Polymers

The ASID Material ConneXion library, installed in the association’s headquarters offices in Washington, D.C., showcases the impact of design materials on the human experience. Each video in the Materials Matters Series reviews a different innovative and healthy material in ASID’s library.

In this edition of Materials Matter, ASID Member and Industry Development Associate Shawn Basker, reviews Serenity Coding, a sound reducing polymer coding made by Three 60 Degree Coding. This non-toxic coating has achieved a Class A fire rating, seals in mold, mildew and lead, and is less expensive and easier to install than other soundproofing materials.
