Adam Mehring joined ASID in June 2016 as the Customer Sales & Success Associate. He develops and implements plans to retain and expand ASID membership. Adam provides prompt and responsive customer service to members who contact ASID via phone, email, fax, or mail. Look for Adam onsite at meetings – he engages with members at conferences, receiving feedback on how to improve the membership experience, while interacting with prospective members.
Adam received his BA in Economics and History from Lafayette College, and earned an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. He has had a multifaceted career, having worked as an Assistant Branch Manager at Chase Manhattan Bank, as a District Manager at Ford Motor Company, and as a Regional Account Manager for the Education Division of Discovery Communications. One of the common threads throughout his career has been a focus on customer service. Whether it was supporting automotive dealers, school district administrators, or the general public, he has built his career around service.
Adam enjoys working directly with ASID members - they keep him on his toes with excellent questions and comments. When he can assist a member with a specific issue, and resolve the problem to their total satisfaction, his day is made!
Adam is originally from Long Island, and now lives in the Palisades neighborhood of Washington, DC, with his wife and two children. Adam enjoys walking around Georgetown, touring open houses in the spring, and the total quiet of his home when his children are away at summer camp for seven weeks.
