Armed with a Computer Engineering degree, Olga Odeide initially established herself as a successful leader of a large global sales organization in the High Tech industry. After a corporate merger led to participation in a large scale commercial campus makeover that garnered widespread acclaim, Olga decided to pursue design of a different sort, studying Interior Design at The Art Institute (where she connected with ASID as a student member!). She eventually became a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional with the US Green Building Council and worked at a leading design firm as a Project Director responsible for multimillion dollar installations.
Combining this keen working knowledge in the design industry with her extensive sales and marketing background, Olga furthered these interests with an insightful consulting stint working with Design and Architecture firms nationwide to streamline operations and maximize profitability through improved workflows and implementation of cloud based software solutions.
Now the Vice President of Industry Partnerships, Olga connects companies and service providers to the ASID design community, making her the key advocate, chief deal maker and major promoter of brand awareness for Industry Partners on a national scale.
Outgoing and energetic, Olga is an enthusiastic boot camper, hopeless optimist, and frequent smiler. An active pursuer of life and all things interesting, she is a seasoned traveler who enjoys DC’s vibrant community and strongly believes in the power of red wine, dark chocolate and a big belly laugh.
