Steven Mandurano is the lead marketing communications executive at ASID.
Prior to join the ASID team, Steven was the Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Membership at The National Society of Collegiate Scholars where he led a $1.8 million direct response membership acquisition program that netted more than $5 million in direct revenue. In this role, Steven transformed the entire membership, marketing and sales operations to optimize people, process, systems and resources. He also tested and launched new membership categories and monetized cart abandonment that was costing the organization more than $1 million annually in lost revenue.
With more than 16 years’ experience in marketing, Steven has spent most of his career in membership organizations, building…and rebuilding teams to efficiently and effectively deliver against their brand promise.
Prior to starting at the Society, Steven worked for a handful of professional and trade associations, leading traditional, digital, inbound, content, multichannel and brand marketing initiatives whilst increasing lead generation, sales, engagement, and awareness. Steven launched his career with the Australian Trade Commission, working with a portfolio of clients in establishing their initial in-market brand presence, at The Embassy of Australia in Washington (just down the street from ASID).
Steven has an MBA from LSU-Shreveport, BA from UNC-Greensboro, is an accredited association executive (CAE), and is pursuing Design Thinking & Strategy through the University of Sydney’s Business School. In 2018, Steven was named to the Association Forum and USAE’s 2018 Forty Under 40® list.
