Preparing Your Design Firm for a Federal Government Shutdown

Unless a compromise is reached, annual funding for the federal government will expire tonight at midnight. Although a government shutdown ultimately could spur long-term agreement, ease partisan tension and take the prospect of debt default off the table, the process will surely test the resilience of an economy still in recovery.

This home features a dramatic underlit floating staircase with stainless steel railings, Italian Murano Glass light fixtures, hand painted murals, spectacular art by New York artists, comfortable furniture, bars, a putting green, and even a fan named “The Big Ass Fan” (really!!).

These photos are from multiple homes staged for sale in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Oakland, San Leandro, and Alameda cities.  Staging took less than an hour at each location, with a crew of 6 workers and pre-supplied furnishings, props, plants, and art.

A rennovation was needed to open up this Union St. apartment and allow for a better inflow of natural light. The end result was a clean, modern, and organic aesthetic.

Complete home renovation included basement space plan, 2 renovated bathrooms plus an additional master, a renovated kitchen and master bedroom and living room design.
