This project was a culmination of all of my skills and passion for healthcare design from my time at Ringling College of Art and Design. The idea for this Physical Trauma Rehabilitation Center derived from the Evidence Based Design research paper that I had worked on he previous year that delved into the topic of "How can the physical environment assist the healing process for people suffering from physical trauma?"

Business owners/Clients came to me with a need to rennovate their small town bakery.  The clients wanted a "comfy" setting, country (beacuse that is what the tourist come to see), and something totaly different (in comparison to the surrounding businesses).  This bakery is nestled in the heart of Amish country so I wanted to relfect those charcteristic while still upgrading to interiors into a modern aptmoshere.  I used rich textures found in all of the tables and original hardwood flooring, that also helped to convey the "country" feel.

This is a project I did for the president of LaVerne University.
This client does lots of entertaining,  she loves the outdoor fire pit space and her new outdoor dining area.
