Chapter Support Team

The ASID Chapter Support Team (CST) is the volunteer-driven council that works to ensure the strength, stability and overall health of the 48 ASID chapters. The CST, which consists of former chapter presidents, communicates frequently with the chapter leadership in the areas of strategic planning, work plans, budgets, elections and effective governance.

Becki Wiechman

CST CHAIR:  Becki Wiechman, ASID, LEED AP
Becki Wiechman has been practicing Interior Design for 10 years with experience in both residential and commercial design. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Design. Becki is the past president of the Nebraska/Iowa chapter and has received numerous Chapter Presidential Citations. She is the Chair-Elect for the Chapter Support Team. Her past projects have been featured in local and regional publications and is involved with the Junior League of Omaha, Child Saving Institute and many Designer Showhouse events.

Mary Katherine Crouch

Mary Katherine Crouch, ASID, RID
Mary Katherine Crouch leads the senior living and residential markets teams for KSA Interiors in Richmond, Va. Her success in this diverse role has led to recognition including several Interior Design Excellence awards. A graduate of the interior design program at Virginia Commonwealth University, Mary is active in ASID at both local and national levels, serving in a number of chapter board positions, including her most recent role as president of the ASID Virginia Chapter.

Joan M. Kaufman

Joan M. Kaufman, ASID, LEED AP
Joan M. Kaufman, Principle of Interior Planning & Design, Inc. in Naperville, Illinois has been practicing both commercial and residential Interior Design for over 25 years. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art History. Joan is a past president of the Illinois chapter and is a recipient of several Presidential Citations. After having worked as an interior designer in Chicago architectural firms and an office furniture dealership, Joan opened her own interior design firm in 1990. She is the winner of the Halo/Metalux National Lighting Competition and her work has been recognized with features in Better Homes and Gardens, Remodeling Ideas, Windows Fashions and many other outstanding publications.

Rachelle Schoessler Lynn

Rachelle Schoessler Lynn, FASID
Rachelle Schoessler Lynn is a senior associate with Meyer, Scherer & Rockcastle in Minneapolis and serves as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota. Schoessler Lynn is a frequent lecturer on sustainable design and workplace issues and has received numerous professional accolades, including ASID Minnesota Designer of Distinction and one of "40 under 40" from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal.

Dani Polidor

Dani Polidor, ASID, BD, CKD, CBD, CAPS
Dani Polidor is principal of Suite Artistry in Rochester, N.Y. Originally from Germany, Dani grew up in Toronto and received a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the Ontario College of Art in Design. She has over 15 years of experience, specializing in universal design, with a focus on kitchen and bath design and a specialty in commercial design for the trade. Her firm also provides exclusive kitchen design services for Ferguson Kitchen, Bath & Lighting Galleries in Rochester and Syracuse. A strong supporter of ASID, she has participated in ongoing efforts to advocate for our profession.

 
Amanda Reviere

Amanda Reviere, ASID
Amanda Reviere has been an ASID member since her design student days at the University of Louisana at Lafayette. After graduating, she honed her skills in the residential market, specifically flooring sales and design. Since then she has taken on numerous roles in ASID South Central Chapter, including chapter administrator, communications director, president-elect and most recently as president. Recently relocated to San Diego, her firm Rivear Design Neeeds specializes in residential new home construction as well as grocery store design.

 
Sandra Bierut Varelmann

Sandra Bierut Varelmann, ASID
Sandra Bierut Varelmann, Principle of WEAVE IDeAS, in Cleveland, Ohio has been practicing Interior Design in both the commercial and residential fields for over fourteen years. Sandy is a graduate of Ursuline College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. Sandy is the past president of the Ohio North chapter and has served several years as chair of the Sourcery Tradeshow in Cleveland. Her projects have been featured in local and regional publications. Sandy has won four ASID Design Awards, and has received several Presidential Citations and Service Awards.
