ASID knows our members and chapters are the most effective advocates for the interior design profession, from defending and advancing the industry, to promoting policy initiatives important to all designers. The Society believes that we should all advocate for design through diligent planning, thoughtful deliberation, long-term strategic vision, and active participation.

From small business owners to large firms, residential and commercial, the future of the profession will be heavily influenced by the decisions of our elected and appointed officials. Advocate by Design is the platform for every interior designer and design ally to make an impact on policy decision making. It is the way to take action and learn about the issues affecting interior designers and the industry.
