Kaitlin (Katie) Festerman, Education Services Senior Associate, joined ASID in August 2023. She collaborates with the Education Services Team to design, develop, launch, and evaluate online and in-person learning programs and educational opportunities for ASID members and relevant audiences. Her work includes developing learning content and activities that translate industry expertise into engaging educational experiences, collaborating with speakers and subject matter experts, and coordinating educational programming across virtual and in-person environments. She is committed to providing design professionals at every career stage with engaging and accessible learning experiences and the tools they need to grow and work with purpose.

Katie brings a diverse background in education, curriculum development, and customer service. Prior to joining ASID, she served as an educator and grade-level chair with Harford County Public Schools, where she supported classroom instruction and led grade-level initiatives. She has contributed to the development of print and digital curriculum for K–12 learners and draws on her experience in Managerial roles in the restaurant industry. Katie demonstrates a commitment to developing engaging, accessible learning experiences that foster individual growth, meaningful engagement, and purposeful work.
