Ken Wilson’s work is comprised of a variety of project types in the areas of architecture, interiors, graphics, and product design, and his clients include the country’s leading environmentally responsible corporations, associations, law firms, and environmental organizations. Most recently he led the design of the new U.S. Green Building Council Headquarters which is the first project in the world to achieve triple platinum certifications from the LEED, WELL, and TRUE rating systems. Ken is the only architect to hold fellowships in the AIA, IIDA, and GBCI (LEED Fellow).
Ken’s projects have been published in eight different countries and have received over 140 national and local design awards. Ken was the founding principal of Envision, an architecture firm focused on environmental responsibility that was acquired by Perkins&Will in 2012. He was formerly one of two Co-Global Design Directors for Interiors and has served on Perkins&Will’s Global Design Board and Executive Committee. Ken is currently an advisor to the firm’s Living Design Leadership Council and works with various Perkins&Will offices across the country.
