Anne Calder is the principal of Calder Design, founded in 2022. As the daughter of a carpenter, she grew up visiting construction sites and watching beautiful homes come together, step by step. Today, she delights in renovation and redecoration alike. While she relishes designing custom millwork and collaborating with tradespeople, she also adores working hand-in-hand with clients to transform their homes into spaces that bring them joy. After earning a degree in American Studies with a concentration on architecture and urbanism from Wesleyan University, Anne later returned to school for an associate’s degree in interior design. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her partner. When she’s not dreaming up designs, she can be found cooking, running, crocheting, reading, and forcing her friends outdoors.
