Tatiana Bacci has been designing interior spaces since an early age, starting with her own childhood home. Her natural aptitude for finding creative solutions for living spaces eventually led her to pursue a degree in Architecture in college while still in her native country of Brazil. During those formative years, she developed an understanding of how physical spaces inhabited by people influence their lives, as well as a theoretical foundation upon which she built her aesthetics and business philosophy.
Shortly after graduating, Tatiana moved to the United States and worked with accomplished interior designer Pamela Kuhl-Linscomb in Houston, Texas. At Kuhl-Linscomb, she grew into an all-around interior designer, having worked on projects ranging from large-scale renovations/constructions to focused interventions. During her time at Kuhl-Linscomb, Tatiana became the lead designer for Bulthaup kitchens, thus broadening the scope of her design practice. People have entrusted her with one of the most important rooms of their homes: the kitchen. Among her clients and colleagues, Tatiana is known for her frank, pragmatic, and dedicated personal style. To her, form is function, and both must serve the purpose of enriching the lives of people.
During her seven-year tenure at Poggenpohl,Tatiana Bacci honed her skills and created highly refined modern kitchens for a wide clientele, including corporate leaders, doctors, homemakers, lawyers, and financiers. With her personable style, Tatiana gets to know her clients well, resulting in kitchens that are fully integrated into the existing interiors and reflect the personalities of the people destined to live in them. Her desire to have greater creative freedom and flexibility with all the design elements of a kitchen led Tatiana to open her own kitchen and interior design firm, Bacci Kitchens. This exciting new phase is the natural development of a successful home designer, who now combines her creative energy with mature refinement to offer clients a wider array of possibilities for designing truly one-of-a-kind kitchens that stand the test of time and avoid trendy clichs. At the helm of Bacci Kitchens, Tatiana will continue working on a diverse portfolio of projects, including new construction, condos, and large-scale multi-unit renovations, with the same passion and warmth she is known for in the industry.
Tatiana received her bachelor's degree in Architecture from Pontificia Universidade Catlica de Campinas (Brazil) in 2002.Since her arrival in the United States, her work has been widely recognized. In 2011, she received the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) Texas Gulf Chapter Award for Best Kitchen. In 2012, Poggenpohl awarded her and colleagues for having the Best Showroom in the U.S. In 2013,she passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) test, became an affiliated member of ASID, and a registered interior designer for the state of Texas.
