The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is headed to GlobalShop@RetailX, the retail industry’s largest design and merchandising trade show. As part of the Society’s 2019 partnership with Emerald Expositions, ASID will offer programming custom tailored to the retail design market. In a new development for 2019, the show will expand to combine GlobalShop, RFID Journal LIVE! Retail, and IRCE (Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition), all under the name RetailX, and will take place at McCormick Place Chicago from June 25-27, 2019.

ASID will exhibit a custom-built installation designed by Elizabeth von Lehe, Allied ASID, design and brand strategy principal, HDR, at GlobalShop@RetailX. This new installation space invites GlobalShop attendees to engage with ASID members and other attendees to thoroughly explore the innovation and impact of design. In addition to its installation space, ASID will present the ASID DESIGN IMPACT Awards to exhibitor products that put people and the environment at the center of design intent. Winning products will be featured by exhibitors at GlobalShop@RetailX and at the remaining Emerald design-related trade shows – CEDIA Expo, Healthcare Design Conference & Expo, and BDNY – throughout 2019.
