Discover Dead Flat, Paint Perfected - Brand Spotlight with Farrow & Ball

Description

Join the Farrow & Ball team for a deep dive into new finish Dead Flat, hosted by Patrick O’Donnell, Brand Ambassador, and Gareth Hayfield, Head of Research and Technical Development. Discover how this finish — which has played such a pivotal part of the Farrow & Ball story — has been reimagined for modern living with impressive durability. Patrick will focus on how the ultra-matte look and deeper, richer colour brings homes to life — especially when it comes to colour drenching. Gareth will talk about the development that made this revolutionary, multi-surface, washable finish possible. Through this conversation, be inspired by the potential of this ultimate combination of practicality and aesthetic.

 Patrick O’Donnell - Brand Ambassador

Patrick O’Donnell has been bringing his impeccable eye for colour to Farrow & Ball since 2012. Over that time, he has worked in our showrooms, in clients homes and is now the Farrow & Ball Brand Ambassador, best known as a much-loved face on social media.

Patrick has always had a flair for interiors, with an ISVA Fine Art & Chattels qualification and studying specialist paint decoration at the Leonard Pardon School. A long-time fan of the iconic Farrow & Ball palette, he used it to decorate his very first home before joining the team. Now, he enjoys working on interior transformations of all kinds.

His favourite colour often changes but he is a firm fan of Pantalon, a brown shade he loves for being “unbelievably chic”.

Gareth Hayfield - Head of Research and Technical Development

Gareth has a degree in Chemistry with Environmental Chemistry from the University of Wales and was drawn into a science career following five years in a retail role.

He is passionate about quality and enjoys spending time exploring Dorset and New Forest countryside on foot, bike and by climbing.
