The Current & The Kiln brings together two distinct expressions of cooking technology, side by side, in real time, inside one of San Diego’s most beautiful appliance showrooms.

The Current represents the precision and silent power of induction cooking. 

The Kiln represents the ancient craft and soul of stone hearth fire. Two philosophies. Two technologies. One unforgettable evening.

Through live cooking demonstrations and curated tastings, guests will experience both heat sources in action, then put their knowledge to the test with collaborative team trivia inspired by each cooking philosophy.

The evening includes:

• Live cooking demonstrations featuring induction and stone hearth technology
• Curated tastings from each cooking method
• Team trivia: The Current vs. The Kiln
• Networking with fellow design professionals
• Light bites and drinks throughout the evening

National Industry Partner Members are $45 per person to attend chapter meetings. Must have active membership number in your name.

Registration at the door is $25 for ASID Designers and Students.
