Nicole Ingram is a Trinidad, West Indies-born, American raised educator and interior designer. A family therapist by training, an interior designer by trade, event designer by skill, and philanthropist by grace.
The spaces she designs is both captivating and comfortable. Nicole brings a fresh mix of modern and luxury style, emphasizing light, scale, and architectural elements of space, creating a both functional and stylish interior. Her knowledge of interior design, talent and skill have made her one of the most sought after interior designers.
Having spent ten years living in Atlanta, Georgia and working in the construction industry, on a quest to find new goals and aspirations, Nicole decided to return to school and pursue her degree in Interior Design. Nicole’s work has appeared on Decoraoti.com, AvaLiving.com, Houzz.com, and HGTV.com among others. Currently, Nicole's work can be found on Houzz.com, About.Me, International Interior Design Association(IIDA) and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). Ms. Ingram is the founder and host of Urban Design + Living her podcast; she offers interior design inspiration and advice to her many followers. She is also the founder of Deziner Lux a design community featuring interior design ideas, furniture, decor, art, and style.
Outside of the Stacy Nicole's design studio, founder and owner participated in the 2017 American Craft Council Show: Make Room Designer Spotlight as a featured interior designer, Nicole designed a modern 80's vignette using 2 arts and craft accessory pieces as the room's inspiration. She volunteered her design expertise in the 2017 Washington area chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers 20th annual Spring Spruce Up event. She believes in giving back to her community too and was appointed by Governor Hogan to serve on the Maryland Commission for Women, where she serves as co-chair for the "Voices of Maryland Women Listening Tour" and several committees. She is the immediate Past President of the Washington County Commission for Women. Most recently Ms. Ingram was appointed the chair Washington County's Habitat for Humanity's Women Build Program and co-chair of Main Street Hagerstown's Design Committee.
In the past, Ms. Ingram was a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the Junior League, served as a board member for WellSpringLiving.org, has been a peer advocate for the Anti-Prejudice Consortium, Kate’s Club, and the Washington, DC Junior League. She currently serves on various committees for NEWH the Network of the Hospitality Industry such as their annual Chili Cook-off, Gala Committee, and the Golf Committee.
