Although their paths are similar, the representation, compensation, and practice rights granted to interior designers or architects vary greatly. This study deconstructs the myths around this professional divide by exploring the overlapping objectives and responsibilities in each step of a designer’s career path, exploring the parallel paths taken by interior design and architecture professionals as they advance through education, experience, and examination.
