- Healthcare – AAHID
The American Academy of Healthcare Interior Designers certifies the knowledge, skills and abilities of healthcare interior designers. Board Certified Healthcare Interior Design certificants are distinguished and qualified by education, examination, and work experience to practice healthcare interior design. The AAHID appellation recognizes excellence, commitment and knowledge. It further distinguishes preeminent healthcare interior designers from other architects, designers, decorators, and interior designers.
- Green Building and LEED Ratings - USGBC
On behalf of USGBC, the Green Building Certification Institute recognizes excellence in green building practices and performance globally through its 3rd party certification services and professional credentials supporting market transformation. LEED Professional Credentials, administered by GBCI for USGBC, demonstrate current knowledge of green building technologies, best practices, and the rapidly evolving LEED Rating Systems. They show differentiation in a growing and competitive industry, and they allow for varied levels of specialization.
- Green Residential Remodeling – REGREEN
Developed by ASID and USGBC, the REGREEN Trained Certificate helps you differentiate Yourself as a green professional. With an already vast interest in green remodeling and a large market of green products available, REGREEN addresses a niche in the marketplace through a set of thorough guidelines and educational programs. REGREEN addresses the major elements of any green renovation project, including the site of the home, water efficiency, energy and atmosphere, material and resources, and indoor environmental quality. - Residential Kitchen & Bath – NKBA
The NKBA developed its certification programs as a way for kitchen and bath professionals to enhance their careers. The NKBA’s certification examinations are developed by CASTLE Worldwide, Inc. in conjunction with NKBA’s Exam Development Committee. The primary body of knowledge for NKBA certification is the nine volume Professional Resource Library and the NKBA Kitchen & Bathroom Planning Guidelines.

The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) offers professional designations designed to improve your skills, advance your career, demonstrate your commitment to professional growth. The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.
