Description

The selected students from ASID will receive two years of paid Allied ASID membership upon graduation.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered, you must be a student member in good standing of one of the three core members of IDCEC:

  • American Society of Interior Designers (ASID)
  • Interior Designers of Canada (IDC)
  • International Interior Design Association (IIDA)

Application Process

Applications should be emailed to the attention of “Emerging Professional Engagement Program Committee” no later than November 15, 2019.

Required Documentation

A 250-300 word statement on the value of continuing education and what this will mean to the candidate moving forward.

  • Completed application signed by the student
  • Sealed letter of recommendation from a professional or employer familiar with your work
  • Sealed, official college or university transcript

*Incomplete applications will not be considered. Information submitted will not be returned.

Selection Process

All applications will be reviewed by the IDCEC EPEP Committee, which is comprised of IDCEC members, including interior designers and industry professionals. The recipient will be notified no later than December 15th, 2019.
