AMERICAN SOCIETY OF INTERIOR DESIGNERS TO SHOWCASE IMPACT OF DESIGN AT BDNY

ASID Will Provide Custom Installation & Show Presence at BDNY in New York, November 10-11

The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) is headed to BDNY, the leading trade fair and conference for hospitality design professionals. Now in its 10th year, BDNY brings together over 8,000 designers, architects, purchasing agents, hoteliers, owners, and developers with over 750 manufacturers for hospitality interiors in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Center, November 10-11, 2019. ASID will attend BDNY to advance the interior design profession through education and knowledge sharing, and to demonstrate the power of design to impact lives.

“BDNY offers designers the ultimate experience for exploring the boutique segment with leading manufacturers, inventive products, and thought-provoking keynotes,” states Randy Fiser, Hon. FASID, CEO, ASID. “We are thrilled to participate and promote our message of design impacts lives to this show audience and further support the boutique hospitality industry as an association and a resource.”

BDNY is the culmination of the Society’s 2019 partnership with Emerald Expositions. ASID brought a special, custom pop-up installation to each of Emerald’s design-related shows throughout 2019, with a focus on each show’s target audience and theme. BDNY is the final partner show between the two for 2019. ASID will showcase the impact of design at BDNY through an installation custom-designed by Elizabeth von Lehe, Allied ASID, design and brand strategy principal, HDR. In addition to the installation space, ASID will also present the ASID DESIGN IMPACT Awards, which recognize innovative products that put people and the environment at the center of design intent. The winning products will be featured by exhibitors at BDNY.

Registration for BDNY is currently open, and ASID members can receive a complimentary trade fair pass (up to $150 value) using the promo code ASID19 at registration. To register and learn more, visit asid.org/events/bdny-2.
