The ASID 2025 Compensation & Benefits Report, which draws on data collected as part of the ASID Compensation & Benefits Survey conducted in mid-August to early October of 2025, provides interior design employees and employers with current data on labor market trends, salaries, benefits, and drivers of job satisfaction. In recent years, increased demand for interior design services has created a tighter labor market, with firms competing more aggressively for talent. At the same time, current economic uncertainty and slower growth projections have led to a cooling in employment trends. With this information, employees can better assess their current job situation and make informed decisions about their future career choices, and employers can have a better understanding of the factors that most influence employees’ hiring decisions, performance, and retention.
