The collection is environmentally preferable and ideal for both interior and exterior commercial grade applications. The SSS x collection is made from high quality concrete that is extremely durable, long lasting, low maintenance, and made from eco-friendly cement and aggregates. The manufacturing process and materials are environmentally responsible and include a closed-loop system to re-capture water in the factory, recycling concrete waste, using products that are negligible VOC with no resin, formaldehyde, or epoxy constituents, and using red list free products.

The manufacturing process is conducted entirely by hand and requires no mold, which means no two tile patterns will ever be alike. Rather than concentrating on producing a standardized tile design, the manufacture of the Ombré tile collection requires the company’s team of skilled artisans to engage their creativity as they produce the coloration of each tile by hand. These dynamic Ombré tiles are made to last with a thick layer of color that lasts longer than painted ceramic tile. Villa Lagoon Tile is proud to use both environmentally-friendly materials and a green production process. The concrete is made up of cement, fine stone, sand, and organic color pigments. The Ombré collection is created without requiring brass molds, which means the production process is lead-free. This technique is also gentler on the environment compared to standard tile manufacturing practices as it reduces the amount of metal and welding required. Designed with hand-carved embosses and distinctive beveled edges, each Art Select wood gluedown luxury vinyl product is crafted to enhance the unique grains, knots, and textures of the wood that inspired it. The new Art Select Reclaimed Hickory design was developed from boards recovered at a Midwest lumber yard. The stark color contrast between the "heartwood" and sapwood is the result of over a century of growth, exposing a beauty only visible with age. These logs were sawn with a wide circular blade, inspiring a new emboss which gives these planks a subtle cross-sawn appearance and texture. For more than 45 years, Karndean Designflooring’s product development team has traveled the world in search of expressive and intriguing natural forms to influence original product designs. Each waterproof, low maintenance plank is manufactured with a 30mil wear layer, suitable for heavy commercial applications and is finished with K-Guard+ surface protection. This uses polyurethane technology to provide a hygienic and durable finish. Unlike aluminum oxide coatings, it will not turn white when scratched or leave stress marks when handled. Karndean Designflooring products are manufactured in factories certified to the ISO 14001 environmental standard and the ISO 9001 quality standard. The wear layers use high quality 100% virgin PVC, with the product itself containing recycled PVC derived from post-production waste.
