Most homes around the world are not built with health and sustainability in mind. However, in recent years—spurred by the pandemic and increasingly severe natural disasters—awareness of their connection has grown. This event will explore how to create healthier, safer and more sustainable homes, drawing on principles from IWBI’s WELL for residential certification and USGBC-CA’s green homes program. It will offer strategies to improve indoor air quality, disaster preparedness and community well-being, while honoring the experiences of those affected by recent tragedies and supporting efforts to rebuild for the future.
