In 2024, the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) launched the ASIDx10 Collective, a groundbreaking initiative bringing together ten visionary interior designers with ten forward-thinking partners from industry manufacturers. This collective was established with the aim of addressing the essential themes within the spheres of Live, Work, Learn, Play, and Heal. The theme for 2024 centered around inclusivity and connectivity.
Throughout 2024, ASID facilitated a series of collaborative meetings, each dedicated to exploring, ideating, and advancing principles and practices that align with our industry’s commitment to a more inclusive and connected design landscape.
The 20 participants were organized into two distinct working groups, Group A and Group B, to foster a diverse range of perspectives and ideas. Each group was composed of a balanced mix of five designers and five manufacturers, creating dynamic teams that combined creativity with practical expertise.
This structure allowed each group to approach the discussions with complementary insights, blending leading-edge design concepts with an understanding of real-world practice.
