ASID Announces GATHER: Catalyst 2026

[December 18, 2026] – Washington, D.C. – The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) will host GATHER Catalyst 2026, its national leadership conference, at Dallas Market Center (DMC) in Dallas, Texas, September 16–18, 2026. GATHER Catalyst is a three-day event designed to bring ASID members, volunteer leaders, students, educators, and industry partners together for leadership development, strategic engagement, and community building.

GATHER Catalyst will provide attendees with leadership insights, professional growth opportunities, and networking experiences that reflect ASID’s commitment to advancing the interior design profession. The program includes high-quality educational sessions, interactive workshops, dedicated development experiences for volunteer leaders, and recognition of ASID award winners.

The 2026 conference coincides with Dallas Design Week and ARCHLight, giving participants expanded access to design programming and opportunities to connect with professionals and suppliers in the industry. ASID’s Texas chapter will lead local engagement and create meaningful experiences throughout the event.

“GATHER Catalyst brings our community together in an intentional space for leadership, connection, and inspiration,” said Khoi Vo, president and chief executive officer, ASID. “We look forward to engaging our members and the design community in rich conversation, shared learning, and strategic collaboration that will strengthen the profession now and into the future.”

“We are thrilled to welcome ASID to the largest open-daily design center in the U.S. and the biggest residential lighting marketplace,” said Cindy Morris, president and CEO, Dallas Market Center. “Hosting GATHER Catalyst will be a wonderful combination of inspiration, education, and Texas-sized hospitality.”

GATHER Catalyst is open to all participants of the interior design community, including ASID members and partners—chapter leaders, national volunteers, design practitioners, students, educators and industry partners—and guests, including design professionals, who wish to engage in leadership development, networking, and education opportunities. Attendees will have opportunities to connect with peers, explore leadership themes, participate in curated programming, and engage in networking events that support both professional and personal growth.
